The Gauntlet
Description: The gauntlet is a race between servers. The players will form groups and start at a specific location in Dratan. Players will have to fight their way through an alley or gauntlet full of dangerous monsters. This is a timed event, therefore the first server to make their way through the gauntlet will win their server points.
How it Works:
A screenshot will be posted showcasing the starting point of the gauntlet. Players must gather at this point and wait until they are told that the race has begun. Players must then fight their way through each group of monsters in the gauntlet. The monsters will become progressively harder as the groups move through the gauntlet. Each group of monsters defeated will be designated a point value and a time limit. Players must defeat the monsters within the time limit OR THE EVENT WILL END. As the groups defeat monsters in the gauntlet they will also be accruing points for their server.
This event is a race between the two servers. The event will start at the exact same time on both servers and whichever server finishes first will be declared the winner. If both servers cannot finish then the point totals for the groups of monsters will be tallied and a winner will be decided from that total.
Rules
1) Players must defeat each group of monsters within the time limit in order to proceed to the next group.
2) If players cannot defeat the monsters within the time limit the EVENT WILL END, and all points will be totaled.
3) You play at your own risk, we are not responsible for any experience loss.
4) Players MUST meet at the starting location in order for the event to begin.
5) Players MUST follow the path of the gauntlet (which will be posted online) in order to proceed to the next group of monsters.
6) GM’s hold the right to make the final decision about the winner of the event.
7) No individual prizes will be awarded unless the gauntlet is completed. The prizes will be a random drop open to the first people able to grab them
PRIZES:
At the end of the gauntlet, there will be a random item drop fiesta. This random drop is open to all players that participated in the event.
BONUS: If we sell a combination of 400 Greater Hit Point Boost and Greater Mana Point boost, the drop items will be upgraded.
(EXAMPLE ONLY: Without the sales the drop item would be gold boosters, with the bonus the items would be lucky smelting stones)
ULTIMATE PRIZE:
The winning server will receive a choice of double event. This time Clementine won’t interfere and only ONE server will win.
